  This is the first time I have ventured into a Sobeys Extra store. All I can say is well done. The gluten free options are second to none. There is a plethora of options from pre-made frozen to fresh or as fresh as gluten free food can be. I was amazed with the options. I know that Sobeys in general is a more expensive store to shop at but I will definitely be shopping again at this store.

  This new location has a wonderful and easy layout with a lot of options! The hours of the store are great and I can always find what I am looking for. They put a huge focus on health and have community lectures on a variety of health related topics along with cooking classes in a wonderful kitchen space located at the front of the store. They provide student deals and also give you a gift card back for $10 if you spend $20 or more on fresh fruits/vegetables Monday-Thursday. They have excellent programs in place that bring them above the status of a normal grocery store.
