  If you like appetizers and desserts then this is the place for you because the actual meal is TINY (considering you pay $18-$20 a plate). I understand it's fresh produce and made in house, and I know there was a menu change a while back, but it's unfortunate that it's almost unrecognizable as the Jack Astors we used to love.

  My husband and I went on a busy Saturday night. The welcome staff were great, but the manager or head chef (I'm not sure which) was superb. I wish I knew his name! (Young guy.) I'd ordered a tuna burger and after a 30 minute wait or so was informed they'd run out and I'd have to order something else. Whatever. It happens with a large menu selection and we were enjoying the date so we didn't mind waiting a little longer. When my salmon came it was cooked perfectly. Also, the manager offered to comp our meal because of the "mix up" and I thought this was really gracious. He clearly takes pride in his kitchen concerning his produce and service. I appreciate people who take the time out of their day to explain a situation and take care of it. I just want to give this guy some credit because he did a fantastic job handling everything on such a busy night.
